The ideas on this site are ours. Sometimes the words get help.
Why we’re telling you this
Transparency is not a footnote for us, it’s the whole point of how we operate, from how we vet guides to how we price our services. It would be strange to hold that standard everywhere except our own writing.
So here it is: some of the content on this site is drafted with the help of AI.
What’s always human
We are concierges, guides and community builders first, not professional writers. Every idea, insight, story, and reflection you read here comes from real conversations, real research, and our own experience in this space. AI does not generate our opinions, our recommendations, or our stories. We do. AI helps us research, organize and phrase what we already know and believe. Nothing goes live until we’ve reviewed it and can stand behind it as our own.
Where AI helps
We use AI the way we’d use an editor or a research assistant: to help structure a draft, tighten language, or move faster from a rough set of notes to a finished piece. It is a tool in the writing process, not a source of the thinking.
What we won’t do
We won’t let AI invent experiences we haven’t had, make claims we can’t stand behind, or soften the safety information that matters most. If something reads as a personal story, an opinion, or a recommendation, it is ours, reviewed and approved by us before publishing.
If you ever have a question about a specific piece of content, reach out. We’re glad to talk about it.
